Welcome to Silent Book Club! We know the name sounds a little mysterious, but here’s the secret: Silent Book Club is a global community of readers (often called "The Introvert’s Happy Hour") who want to enjoy the social vibes of a book club without the pressure of a traditional one. Unlike a typical book club, there is NO assigned reading. You don’t have to finish a specific book by a certain date, and you definitely won’t be put on the spot to answer discussion questions.

Club- Ready to run for a cold one?  Join us every Thursday for the WildFlyer Run Club! We'll meet at our Downtown Navasota Tasting Room at 6:00 PM for a quick and fun run or walk every Thursday. Our planned route is a casual 1 to 1.5-mile loop, and is perfect for all paces. This is all about getting up and getting moving in a no-pressure environment. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or prefer to walk and chat, everyone is welcome! If you want to go for a longer run, the course is yours to extend. Runners will take to the road with a leader, walkers, feel free to take the same course or do laps around our Downtown Navasota block (two laps is one mile)

February 6-22 (check with venue for dates and times)-The Crighton Theatre, 234 N Main St, Conroe, TX 77301, (936) 441-7469- “Of Mice and Men”- The play, adapted from John Steinbeck’s 1937 novella, centers on George Milton and Lennie Small, two itinerant workers who travel together in search of employment on ranches in California. George is small and sharp-witted, while Lennie is a large, strong man with a mental disability, whose childlike demeanor often leads to trouble. Their deep bond is rooted in a shared dream of owning a piece of land where they can live independently and care for rabbits, a vision that provides them hope amidst their harsh realities.

February 6, 5-7PM- Madeley Fine Arts Gallery- 127 Simonton St, Conroe, 936-756-9572- Artist in Action- Each month on the First Friday of the month the gallery is open late for the downtown Conroe event "Sip and Shop".  The monthly Artist In Action will be working on a current project in the gallery for the general public to view.

Every month brings different artists with different mediums so you may see painting, sculpting, drawing, ceramics, photography, or any number of other mediums.  This is a free event open to the public.

Lone Star Monument and Historic Park, 1-4 I-45N, Conroe,  is a 3.5 acre park featuring the 13 flags that flew in Texas as the region fought for independence during the Texas Revolution.  At the center of the plaza is a statue of the Texas Revolutionary Soldier by Conroe artist, Craig Compobella.

Whitehall Icehouse & Cafe, 1863 CR 306, Navasota- Homemade country food, chef-made deserts, BBQ, burgers & ice cold beer. This establishment, owned by two chefs, is a destination, where folks, local or just passing through, can stop for a beer, a burger, and a great time. They host live music, jeep days, and farmer’s markets monthly.
