11/5 Beaver Moon, the last and brightest of the supermoons for 2025, will be visible globally. 

11/5, 11/19-  Figure Drawing Group- Twice a month join this fun group for live figure drawing at the Conroe Art League classroom, 127 Simonton, Conroe, TX.  10:00am to 1:00pm on the first and third Wednesday of the month.

We will set up our big tent on the lawn and will have festive food, drinks and activities throughout the day! -WildFlyer Farm Kitchen will be serving schnitzel, brats, and pretzels at the food tent. -Flo — our mobile horse trailer bar — will be serving all the Oktoberfest beer and mulled mead you can handle. -Paw-toberfest! - Grimes County Animal Rescue will be hosting an adoption event. Find your new best friend! -FESTtivities - we'll have keg bowling, stein holding and pretzel tossing! We will also be rolling out our holiday gift sets and options - perfect for getting your holiday shopping early!

Heritage Museum of Montgomery County, 1506 I-45 North Feeder, 936-539-6873- dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich history of the area. It is located in the historic Grogan/Cochran home, which was built in 1924 and is situated in Candy Cane Park. 

Heritage Park, 500 Collins St, Conroe- This park was developed with the help of the Conroe Service League in 1986 that consisted of a gazebo, picnic tables and a playground as well as green space. In 2001, Heritage Place underwent a major expansion in response to civic leader's desire to create a new central space in downtown Conroe. Lone Star Hiking Trail- 129 mile hiking trail meanders through the Sam Houston National Forest. There are several different recommended trails to hike with various levels of difficulty. Contact the Forest Service for more information (936)344-6205.

Lone Star Monument and Historic Park, 1-4 I-45N, Conroe,  is a 3.5 acre park featuring the 13 flags that flew in Texas as the region fought for independence during the Texas Revolution.  At the center of the plaza is a statue of the Texas Revolutionary Soldier by Conroe artist, Craig Compobella.
